FACES Cares Community Response Program
How It Works
1. Apply for Assistance
Clients seeking services should begin by completing our online Client Intake Application.
- Information helps us understand your immediate needs and situation. All information shared is treated with respect and confidentiality.
- Submitting an application does not guarantee assistance but allows us to assess how we can best help.
- Services are based on availability and eligibility
- Assistance is emergency-focused. We currently are able to provide up to $300 in assistance per household one time within a 12 month period. ( No Cash or Checks are given to clients)
2. Review & Follow-Up
Once your application is received:
- A FACES representative will review your application and request.
- You may be contacted to:
- Provide documents
- Schedule a brief interview, or
- Receive a referral to a partner agency better suited to meet your needs.
Our team responds as quickly as possible based on urgency and available resources.
In order to help us understand your household financial crisis, FACES may require any of the following documents verifying your income and financial status:
- If you have reduced hours, bring pay stubs that show your reduction in pay over a few months.
- If no pay stubs are available, bring a letter from your former employer verifying your previous employment.
- Bring any application for or pay verification for unemployment or disability.
- Also bring copies of as many major bills as possible that will help outline why your household is struggling to pay the requested emergency service.
3. Support & Next Steps
Depending on your situation, support may include:
- Emergency assistance (as available) in the form of a payment pledge to your debtor.
- Connection to other local nonprofits, churches, or community partners
- Guidance on next steps toward achieving long-term stability
